Doggie Day Care

We are very excited about the daycare program we have developed at Paws At Play. Daycare has many positive attributes such as providing needed daily exercise, social skills, and daycare helps to curb separation anxiety. The primary goal of daycare is to provide a safe, healthy environment for dogs to socialize and interact in playgroups throughout the day. Each dog must be social and undergo a temperament evaluation to determine which playgroup would fit their individual personality and play type best. Once assigned to a playgroup, they spend their entire day socializing with other dogs and our staff, rotating throughout our large indoor and outdoor play areas.

All dogs attending daycare must be spayed or neutered by 12 months of age and be social. If you are on contract, all days must be scheduled and paid for by the 1 st of the month to guarantee space. No refunds are given for missed days. If you are not on a contract we cannot guarantee space. Please contact us for more details and available scheduling. We thank you for your interest in Paws At Play and we hope to meet you and your dog soon!

Dogs enrolled in daycare that are not picked up by the designated time will be checked in for the night and charged a full nights board in addition to the daycare rate.

No toys will be accepted – Paws At Play will provide all toys for the daycare

The Guest Profile and Health Certificate must be turned in along with the $25.00 registration fee prior to the first reservation. We recommend having these forms to us one week prior to the first reservation so that we may verify all the requirements have been met.

All daycare must be scheduled; this is due to space and existing groups. We cannot group some personalities together and therefore need to evaluate each dog. Please confirm your dates monthly to hold your space.

The daycare rate is $22.00 per day.

Vaccinations and Pharmaceuticals:

Rabies – 1 or 3 year

DHLPP or equivelent – once per year; titers are acceptable

Heartworm test – Once per year – All dogs must be on monthly heartworm prevention (we recommend interceptor)

Bordetella – Due within 6 months of a reservation

Fecal Tests: Fecal tests are needed to prevent the contamination of whipworms and other intestinal parasites as well as checking for giardia and coccidian, all of which are transmittable to animals and humans. We require a fecal test within 6 months of a reservation.

De-worming – A yearly dewormer is required if your pet is not on Interceptor year round. A fecal test alone is not accepted because they can be incorrect if eggs are not being shed at the time of the test.

Veterinary approved flea and tick control – Frontline, Top Spot must be purchased from your veterinarian and applied monthly.

**All preventatives and vaccines must be purchased from your Veterinarian for verification.

THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING OUR FACILITY POLICIES

Friendly reminder!

Daycare guests may get scratched and roughed up a little when playing. Just as human children on a playground, they can get scratches and bumps from running and wrestling. Please expect to see these types of things on occasion. Our daycare assistant will make you aware of any active aggression; otherwise do not be alarmed by scratches or bumps.
